Tehran Online Auction Special Conditions

Auction Conditions:

All the conditions contained in this document regarding the conditions of the online auction and the purchase and sale of works of art and the separate registration form for participating in the auction, as well as the explanations contained in the catalog file and the General Terms & Conditions of Tehran Auction constitutes the Special Conditions of Tehran Online Auction, as an integrated whole and Tehran Auction presents and sells artworks to applicants based on them. Your registration to participate in the auction means accepting all the Special Conditions of Tehran Online Auction which are effective upon registration. Please read carefully before registering all the above and the following information:

The works of art will be selected by the organizers of the auction based on their qualitative value and according to the interest of the applicants and will be presented in the auction with the base price as agreed with the owner of the work. The selected works will be on display for four days at the Tehran Auction exhibition and will be auctioned online from 2:00 p.m. of the first day untill 6:00 p.m. of the fifth day through the link sent to the registered buyers. Respected registrants, from the beginning of the exhibition until the end of the auction, are allowed to enter the live auction link to participate in the online auction for buying works. The deadline for participating in the auction is according to the number of the works in the auction catalog file, and during this period, anyone may be informed of the latest price of the works by visiting the site.

Applicants can receive the link to participate in the auction by registering on Tehran auction website from the appointed time and participate in the auction at the appointed time. Registering in the online auction requires the following:

• Complete study and acceptance of the General Terms & Conditions of Tehran Auction and Special Conditions of Tehran Online Auction.

• Completing or confirming the items listed in the online registration form.

• Bringing the applicant’s national card.

• Having an IBAN and a bank account number in the name of the applicant.

• Bringing a white sheet of paper and a blue or black pen to provide a signature sample.

• Providing 100 million Tomans bond to guarantee the payment [applicants participating in the auction are required to provide 100 million Tomans bond to guarantee the payment for the purchase of works and the auctioneer’s commission. It should be noted that this amount must be paid from the applicant’s account to Tehran Art Auction Institute account (account number 110-9967-1484110-1 at Tehran Central Branch of Gardeshgari Bank). After the auction, this amount will be deducted from the total amount of the purchased work in its invoice and the buyer will be obliged to pay the remaining amount of the invoice. If the applicant does not buy the works, this amount will be returned to the account mentioned in the registration form within 72 working hours after the auction].

The owners of the works may, if they wish, agree to make available conditions according to which if no applicant bids for their work, the Auctioneer will, in the last moments of the online auction, sell the work at a price lower than the minimum bid, to prevent the works from not being sold.

Matters not mentioned in this document, such as the amount and method of payment of the auctioneer commission, method of payment of the price of the purchased work, guarantees for non-payment, method of delivery of the purchased work, dispute resolution mechanism, etc. will be subject to the General Terms & Conditions of Tehran Auction.
